Renovations Site Manager
In this role, you will oversee Xanadu’s renovations sites, including schedules, sub-trades, renovations team leads and laborers and materials. You will work closely with the Construction Manager to ensure projects stay on schedule and the Xanadu quality standards are upheld. You will liaise with the project management team, design team, clients and renovations team throughout all stages of the project to ensure our clients vision is brought to life.
Regular Responsibilities
ROUTINE WORK
- Order and ensure materials are onsite according to renovations schedule.
- Provide clients with updates through consistent communication.
- Manage sub-trades and oversee completion of work on all renovation sites.
- Manage the renovations schedule, overseeing multiple projects at a time, communicating with the construction manager with project updates and schedule changes required.
- Manage the renovations team members to ensure projects are completed according to schedule and quality standards. Create and communicate daily responsibilities to all renovations team members.
- Liaise with clients on site for the duration of the project, troubleshooting and escalating clients concerns and changes as needed.
- A focus on ensuring a high standard of quality is upheld on all projects.
- Ensure a safe work and clean site is upheld for the safety of all parties involved.
PERIODIC WORK
- Troubleshoot and complete tasks such as demo, installation and service as needed.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 5-10 years of residential renovations experience.
- 1-3 years of site supervision and/or team lead and/or project management experience.
- Able to communicate effectively with team members, stakeholders, clients and sub-trades.
- Strong organizational skills and experience managing multiple projects at once, ensuring scheduling changes are made and communicated as needed.
- The ability to foresee and troubleshoot scheduling of renovations projects.
- A team player who is able to lead and coach a team throughout project completion.
- A want to grow and learn to become an expert in your role.
- Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy and quality.
- Strong understanding of mechanical and structural residential systems.
- In depth knowledge and past experience with application of the Ontario Building Code.
- Experience with reading and executing architectural drawings and design drawings.
